USA
Jill is from New York City and holds a Ph.D. in Slavic Languages from Columbia University. She has spent the past two years in Daugavpils, Latvia teaching English and Russian as Foreign Languages and working as a translator and editor. She has 12 years’ experience as a New York City elementary school teacher (grades K through 5). She has worked as certified TEFL since 2015. Her interests include travel, literature, and cooking.
Jack
UK
Jack grew up in a small town in the UK. After graduating from the university of London he moved to St Petersburg, Russia to study Russian. Alongside this he taught English for 2 years in St Petersburg in a number of different schools as well as for private clients. Jack holds a TEFL certificate and is excited to continue to improve as a teacher with SimplyEnglish here in Moscow.
Grant
New Zealand
Grant is a New Zealander who has recently returned to teaching having worked for many years in television production. He has BA and MA qualifications and is enthusiastic about the value of education. Grant enjoys travelling and experiencing different cultures and is eager to appreciate all that Moscow has to offer.
Trevor
USA
Trevor is from Portland, Oregon in the United States. He studied French, and second language education at the University of Oregon. He's just finished teaching and traveling for a year in Mexico. He enjoys cooking, reading, and studying languages. He's excited to teach in Moscow, and have the opportunity to learn more about Russian language, and culture.
Aleczander
UK
Aleczander is from London, England. He obtained his B.A from Bath Spa University and his M.A from Royal Holloway, University of London, both in Philosophy. He completed his TEFL in Poland last year and has since taught English in France. Alongside his studies, Aleczander had been teaching children and teenagers in the cities of Oxford and Bath. He has always been fascinated by Russian culture and hopes to use his experience in Moscow to one day complete a doctorate in Russian Philosophy.
Jack

Jack is from a town called Watford on the edge of London. He studied comparative literature and linguistics at Queen Mary University of London and has always been interested in forms of communication and understanding and working with languages. Aside from this his other main interests are in Japanese cinema.
Bryan
USA
Bryan is originally from Spokane, Washington, where he studied the Russian language and culture in his free time. He obtained a TEFL certification, along with the opportunity to teach with SimplyEnglish in Moscow. Bryan is excited to spread his knowledge of the English language to a new generation of Russian learners while gaining a newfound appreciation of life in Russia.
Leo
UK
Leo was born in London and went to university in Oxford to study politics and sociology. It was here he found his passion for teaching and travelling. Leo has come to Moscow to understand and learn Russian culture and working at simply English gives him this opportunity. Leo has traveled extensively around the world as he believes travel expands the mind and strengthens the soul.
Erin
USA
Erin is from Maine in the United States. She enjoys traveling, experiencing new cultures/languages and loves working with kids! Erin’s previous experience has been working with children in the Mental Health profession. She is excited to begin teaching in Moscow and hopes to learn the Russian language.
Rory
UK
​A native of Dundee, Scotland, Rory has been a teacher for over 8 years and holds qualifications in CELTA, IH CAM and Delta Module 1, and TKT 3 Modules (band 4) amongst others. He has lived and worked in numerous European and African countries with a focus on Young Learners between 4-17 years of age while writing several articles and one book on English Language Teaching.
Hector
South Africa
Hector moved to Moscow with his wife in 2019 to continue their careers as English Teachers. Before coming to Moscow, he taught in Japan for five years. Hector has worked with all age groups, from tiny, excitable children, to ambitious engineers, to laid-back elderly travellers. He loves to compete in quizzes, sports, and board games. His classes incorporate the same motivational techniques that games use to encourage students to engage in persevere.
Peruda
South Africa
Peruda is from South Africa, but lived in London for two years and taught English in Japan for five. She has a BA in Language and Culture with TEFL/CELTA equivalent, a PGCE in English teaching and a degree in Philology. Peruda has taught Beginner English to little children and adults, exam prep to university students, and Business English.
Jodell
South Africa
Jodell originates from South Africa, she is a qualified ESL teacher who holds a masters in TEFL, for teachers of General and Business English as a foreign language. She has taught ESL in 4 countries on 3 continents over the last 6 years, as well as prepared foreign students for their TOEFL exam.
Apart from her ESL teaching profession and qualifications, she has a specialized finance and banking degree and has worked for several multinational financial institutes globally.
Hileigh
USA
​Hileigh is from the state of Colorado, USA. She earned a BA from Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She studied English as a Second Language, Russian language and obtained a TEFL certification. After graduating, she taught ESL to immigrants and was a volunteer interpreter for Russian speaking refugees. She has been teaching English in Moscow since 2003 in Business English and ESL in a prestige International School in Moscow. Currently, she’s an academic tutor to young children supporting the English National Curriculum. She enjoys traveling, languages and new cultures.
